MEDICUS is a family practice in the truest sense. Drs. Marcus and Gaylene Tomassoni founded the practice on the principle that true health requires treating the whole person — mind, body and environment. Their children have carried that philosophy forward, each adding new dimensions of specialisation.

All practitioners are AHPRA registered and hold post-graduate qualifications, and the practice maintains a close referral network with both orthodox and complementary medicine specialists.

A person's health is determined by the inter-relationship of genetics, living circumstances and environmental factors, psychological health, nutritional strength and the correct alignment of the muscular-skeletal system.

Dr. Marcus Tomassoni is one of the few chief Integrative Medicine Practitioners who has specialised in a variety of modalities at a post-graduate level both within Australia and overseas. He is a third generation health practitioner who graduated in the 1970s with Acupuncture, Chiropractic and Naturopathy as his three cornerstone treatments.

Dr. Marcus believes that a person's health is determined by the inter-relationship of genetics, living circumstances and environmental factors, psychological health, nutritional strength and correct alignment of the muscular-skeletal system.

Dr. Gaylene Tomassoni is an Integrative Medicine Practitioner & Health Professional specialised in a wide range of significant modalities, including Naturopathy, TCM, Acupuncture, Biopuncture/Mesotherapy, Eastern and Western Herbalism, and Homeopathy.

With a background in education, Dr. Gaylene brings a unique platform from which to view, test and successfully treat patients — with the ultimate purpose of propelling them to their optimum physical, mental and emotional health.
